I am a highly experienced Performance Nutritionist and Sport Scientist, and am the Founder and CEO of the Institute of Performance Nutrition (IOPN), based in London (UK).
At the IOPN, we specialise in advanced education programs for sport and exercise nutritionists that is relevant to real-world practice. We currently have students and graduates in over 57 countries world-wide.
I also provide my consulting services to elite sports teams and squads, which has recently included GB Fencing for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, and the Egyptian national football team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
I have over 28 years experience in the health, fitness and nutrition fields, primarily as a practitioner. My doctorate was in sport and exercise nutrition and I have authored/co-authored a growing number of scientific publications, with more publications due this year. I am also the host of the award winning “We Do Science Podcast” which achieved over a million downloads in the first 100 episodes alone. I am also regularly invited to speak at conferences and events internationally and have been a guest expert on numerous television and radio programs.
At the IOPN my primary aim over the next 2-3 years is to grow and develop the institute to being the gold standard in advanced professional sport and exercise nutrition education world wide.
