I am the founder of Sigma Nutrition, a company providing educational media content on nutritional and health science.

One of our methods of education is via the top-ranked podcast Sigma Nutrition Radio, which has been running weekly since early 2014. As of early 2020, the podcast has close to 5 million unique downloads.

Academically, I have a masters degree (MSc.) in Nutritional Sciences from University College Cork, Ireland. Previous to that I graduated with an undergraduate degree in biology and physics from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

I have spoken at conferences internationally, including in the US, Australia and across mainland Europe, as well as hosting our annual Sigma Nutrition Seminar, which has had 100s of attendees come to Dublin since 2015. Over the years, Sigma Nutrition has provided workshops to many groups and facilities, as well as corporate wellness talks in companies such as LinkedIn, Johnson & Johnson and Gilead Sciences.

As a nutrition practitioner, I have most notably worked with high-level combat sport athletes; helping MMA athletes, boxers & other combat sport practitioners to fuel their training and make weight for competition in a safe and effective manner. In 2017, I detailed the process I use in my book “Sigma Weight Cutting System for MMA & Boxing”.
